19-Year Old Helena Native Killed in Iraq

Specialist Donald M. Young was killed Wednesday in Baghdad, from wounds sustained when his vehicle was struck with an IED. Young was the 2nd graduate of Capital High School killed in Iraq.
Donald Young was the 5th Helena native killed in the Iraq war, and the 20th Montanan.
Tears and prayers for the family and friends of Donald Young.

I noticed that Montana television news directors still use the Pentagon marketing phrase “killed in Operation Iraqi Freedom” in reporting this soldier’s tragic death.

Your list shows Kris Stonesifer’s name in both lists. He was, in fact, killed on Oct 19, 2001 in Afghanistan. Also, Kristofor is the correct spelling. You have it spelled as Kristofer and Kristofor. The middle initial “T” is correct. See the mentioned web site by his mom for more information.
