“you know (iraq) not having weapons of mass destruction was obviously a significant disappointment…”   there seems to be no end to the shoe this guy can cram into his mouth. what a jerk. well, as dave chapelle says “that’s a wrap folks.”

thank God for that.

  1. Jim Lang

Not quite as high on the Lame-O-Meter as Cheney saying that 9/11 was the ‘high point’ of his time in office, though…

  2. Rumsfeld says Armageddon would have been a hoot….

  3. klemz

dude, can we not show pictures of this guy for the next week?

  4. Big Swede

I just got back from the future, spring of 2012 to be exact, and all you guys were begging GWB to run again.

  5. all in favor of GWB as chairman of the GOP in 2012 say aye…

  6. klemz

“I just got back from the future, spring of 2012 to be exact, and all you guys were begging GWB to run again.”

    Run in front of what?

  7. Big Swede

Yea klemz, you can get away telling that joke, I can’t.

  8. Mayor of Mayhem

Big Swede, You can’t be serious. Even hardcore Repubs are celebrating the end of this era. The economy is crashed, the trade deficit is skyrocketing, we are occupying two nations, we are torturing cab drivers, We have expanded government to the largest single agency in the history of the world, and we have socialized free enterprise. I won’t even start on the Patriot act, the largest assault on individual rights ever perpetrated on the citizens of the U.S. I have already fallen for a few sarcastic jokesters on here. But really are u serious?

  9. Mayor of Mayhem

Big Swede, Let’s not forget Dick Cheney, really, need I say more?

  10. Big Swede

The hard core rebps will be the first ones to regret their distaste for George W.. Because what I see is the beginnings of a perfect storm. A combination of economy, domestic terrorism, and oppressive governments.

Now you can argue that part of that’s George’s fault, but the solution(s) doesn’t lie with an inexperienced part time Chicagoland Senator.

I hope I’m wrong, but I’m not wrong often.

  11. Jim Lang

I hope I’m wrong, but I’m not wrong often.

    LOL!

I gotta say, I am pretty egotistical, but not at anything approaching this level.

  12. Mayor of Mayhem

Big Swede, Who was more repressive than Bush/Cheney? The Patriot act alone is enough to swear me off the Republican Party for life. Part George’s fault? How about the economy, all Georges fault. Oppressive Gov’t; see Patriot Act. Domestic Terrorism? What are you talking about? International Terrorism maybe. Domestically we’re in pretty good shape. As far as your statement that the “solution doesn’t lie with an inexperienced part time Senator from Chicago” Well who do you suggest? I don’t only think you are wrong, I think the doomsayers will get left behind. People who don’t add to the solution become part of the problem. I for one believe the U.S.A. got a lot left to offer all of us. So turn off Rush Limbaugh and join the rest of us who are trying to save our country from the Hell that Bush/Cheney have left for us.

  13. mayor – meanspiritedness is fairly ingrained in some people. if there were a bucket brigade formed to help save a barn from a fire that GWB and the 15% of idiots who still support him started, i wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for them to pitch in. they would prefer to catcall from their gated mansions….my money is on swede remaining steadfastly irrelevant. the best you can hope for with these people is to keep them away from the matches for the next 8 years until we can rebuild….meanwhile, let them prattle on and on….because the more they say the worse they look and that can only help us to solidify and build support for those who wish to rebuild our country and to help those who are suffering from their stupid and selfish behavior…

  14. Mayor of Mayhem

Bear, Your right I feel like I’m trying to teach a pig play the violin when it comes to the few G.W.B supporters left. If the current state of our country can’t convince them that they elected a moron what good are my comments. I heard Obama’s first official act will be signing an executive order to close quantanamo. I am very optimistic.

  15. big swede is not as reprehensible as he sounds mayor.he just likes to toss handgrenades once in awhile to watch us react, so i will lay off him personally for awhile, but how much you wanna bet that the real a-holes let us do all the work putting bush’s fire out and then show up just in time for the photo opps and to claim credit for turning things around….like a homebuilder friend of mine told me- once the work and the hammers stop the suits show up with the brief cases and take all the money….
