A Few Pics from Obama’s Townhall Visit to Belgrade MT

Well, Ana wanted to see pics? Here’s just a choice few.
This one was so proud of her sign, that she had it wrapped in plastic:

The sign over there on the right in this one, below, says “Typical White American Working Mobster”
Of course, some still can’t resist the references to Osama bin Ladin. What do you want to bet this person had never even heard of Osama bin Ladin before September 11th? Yet alone that they even know how bin Ladin got to where he is?
Did I hear someone say President Ronald Reagan?
Birthers were there too – check out the brown sign smack dab there in the middle: “Where’s the Birth Certificate?”

So were seniors that have been fed the “nonsense” Obama spoke of the next day in Colorado Springs…
Oh – here’s one more. Let’s hope the pic picks it up up – what we have here is a sign that says “Congress, You Are In Our Site (sic)” which replaces every “o” with the cross sight of a rifle scope.

The left protrayed Bush as hitler and a chimpanzee and every evil and stupid thing and person under the sun. I can’t condone those signs, but I’ve been called just as bad on this website.
August 17, 2009 at 10:22 pm
“but I’ve been called just as bad on this website.”
this whine brought to you by a freedom loving right wing patriot….who likes to dish it out but….
is that better for you goof?
August 17, 2009 at 10:27 pm
I think you’ll find I’ve not called names here or anywhere, pb. You’re the one with the big chip.
August 17, 2009 at 10:29 pm
and i appreciate the compliment….glad to oblige goof.
when you come on this site defending and condoning the type of behavior evidenced by that gang of cowards you know what to expect from me goof….
August 17, 2009 at 10:36 pm
I will step in here and say that goof has always been civil and refrains from name calling and hyperbole.
He believes what he believes. I don’t always agree, but what I find is that the further we get from ground zero (Montana) the more likely it is that we disagree.
In other words, there’s quite a bit of stuff we agree on.
I know for myself, I don’t see how he quite fits into ‘right wing patriot’ label…he may be conservative, but he certainly seems to reject much of what I consider right wing.
Now – goof might disagree with that fourth paragraph, and he certainly doesn’t need me defending him, but I thought I’d make my thoughts on the matter clear.

“I think you’ll find I’ve not called names here or anywhere, pb.”
*ROFLMAO*

Wow, y’all found one of the girls from Prussian Blue.
August 18, 2009 at 9:09 am
Well thanks for the pics….. I liked them. Anybody in Montana that has enough wits left to see through Obama’s lies are all right by me. These are the ones the Obama loving media did not show from the recent propaganda event in Belgrade.
So explain to me just how the most incompetent government in the world, and I do mean the US government, is going to save American money at the health pump? How they are going to show us get higher quality health care? How is a bankrupt and deficit ladened government is going to improve things without raising taxes even higher? I’d really like to hear that………

a grown tea-bagger shoves a nine year old kid to the ground and you like it? you must be very proud of those cowards. tell jake eaton hi for me………
August 18, 2009 at 10:50 am
Yeah you can only act like that, pushing people around, yelling, using violence, threats and such if you are part of a union or progressive causes.
August 18, 2009 at 1:11 pm
Can we please stop using the term “tea bagger”? It makes it sound like conservatives are a bunch of frat boys slapping their balls on Obama’s face.
August 18, 2009 at 1:15 pm
That pretty much sums up the protests:
“a bunch of frat boys slapping their balls on Obama’s face”
Makes about as much sense as the lies they are propagating do.
August 18, 2009 at 1:59 pm
Since I’m not a real journalist and I like a clever turn of phrase and the imagery it evokes, I will continue using the word “tea bagger.”
Hey, I’ve been called a lot worse.
August 18, 2009 at 2:27 pm
And they did coin it themselves. As misguided as it was. ;-)
August 18, 2009 at 10:40 am
Not rocket science. By insuring more Americans, we actually save money, as those folks will have earlier, preventative treatment instead of getting treated with more serious conditions at ERs…which taxpayers are already underwriting…
In fact, as the CBO scored it, the bigger and more robust the public option, the lower the direct cost of reform — although the CBO doesn’t and can’t score the other, wider savings having better and universal health care.
So good conservatives interested in eliminating government waste and lower taxes should be 100 percent behind a robust, universally available public option.
August 18, 2009 at 12:16 pm
To people like watchmanonthewall, it’s not about health care. It’s about creating the aura of an illegitimate presidency and creating chaos.
The question is, can democrats lead and govern in the face of such chaos? And the answer is, only if they choose to recognize it as such, and expose the rantings of people like watchmanonthewall for what they are: lies and ignorance.

It’s unbelievable how the Tea Party can be villainized after WE rented the space for OUR protest and were encroached upon by a mob of Max Baucus’ paid Acorn members, who were bussed in from Helena. Tell me why the Montana H.P. would not remove them? I think the most interesting signs I saw at the airport last Friday were the ones which read, “Single payer healthcare now.” And I thought Obama wasn’t an advocate of single payer healthcare?! Or was it that he was against the insurance companies? Wait a minute…it was the doctors he didn’t like, right? Mark my words, it’s the lawyers next. He’s going to throw his legal buddies under the bus like he did his racist white grandmother during the campaign. Let’s just all be serious here for a moment–we can’t trust a thing Obama says. He’s lied about every topic he’s been faced with. So why is it these people feel compelled to get behind him and Congress on ANYTHING? He and his cronies are as bad, if not worse, than George W., and his approval rating is showing it. WAKE UP PEOPLE!!! Jump off the bus and quit drinking the Kool Aid! Let’s impeach this treasonous bunch of idiots before it’s too late! This IS the second American Revolution! Lead, follow, or get the hell out of the way!
August 18, 2009 at 10:10 pm
Rented space? Post the permit and invoice.
The government can’t charge for protesters to occupy free speech zones on public land.
Methinks you’re making stuff up. Probably made most of the other stuff up to, then.
August 18, 2009 at 10:16 pm
tea baggers villainized themselves by acting like royal assholes……
by the way libertarian, we threw off feudal land laws when we broke away from britain a while back. produce the document showing ownership of the land and then we will talk. meanwhile, tell your republaristocrat and corporate masters that crazy doesn’t sell here.
August 18, 2009 at 11:55 pm
I also think you’re a goddamn liar.
August 19, 2009 at 10:01 am
All obama will do is outsource anyways. Just think about the all the lobbyists flocking to Washington DC because of obama’s reckless over-spending of $2 TRILLION in just 6 months, which alone is increasing the National Debt by 20%.
Politicians take people’s money and reward the large corporations, in this case companies in the health care industry, since they have the money to more effectively lobby politicians. In the end smaller businesses will be hurt.
Politicians will only reward companies that will be in their best political interest. Honestly, when can you really trust politicians since they are basically professional liars, and being president just means you are the best liar of the time. Why not just give the money directly from the people to the companies and take politicians in government out of the equation?
obama is going to recklessly spend TRILLIONS of tax payers’ money just to give insurance to about 25% of those who do not have it. Over 50% of people’s income go towards taxes, just imagine how many more people will afford health care insurance if their income is almost doubled because of dramatic tax cuts.
Competition is what is needed. It lowers prices of products and services, along with developing new innovations. All of which will benefit consumers. You need to remember that monopolistic tendencies can also apply to government.
The reason why the cost of insurance is high is because politicians in government mandate insurance companies to increase their premiums to pay for ridiculous things. In addition, politicians put up regulations so that Americans are not allowed to get insurance from another state and use the coverage in their own state. This reduces competition making it more expensive for people to get insurance. On top of that medical professionals are not allowed to freely practice their profession in any US state without taking a long and tedious licensing process. This again increases the cost of medical insurance.
In the end, the problem with most economic issues is too much government intervention of the economy by politicians, who will only tend to do things for political self interest. Just like how obama nationalized GM to pander to its unions. Politicians can barely run government, yet people think they can run a multi-national auto manufacturing company?
The solution is SMALLER government, LESS spending, and LOWER taxes.
August 19, 2009 at 4:45 pm
I noticed that the author didn’t show the Obama Hitler sign as belonging to a left wing group. Those are Lyndon LaRouche followers, not tea baggers. Also, wasn’t it a Kucinich supporter who did the Obama Joker Socialism poster?
Just sayin…
