Any decent writing of mine that you see on these pages can be directly attributed to Bob McGiffert. I struggled mightily through his editing class and was grateful for the ‘C’ I received from him. Any grasp of press access and libel law that I have I also learned from Bob. Sat behind him at Grizzly football games, too. And he was a good Democrat. He’ll be sorely missed.
