I grew up in Anaconda, Montana, known to most people as “That little place near Butte” or “The town that killed the river.” But I liked it more than that. Kind of.

Thanks to what I’m sure will eventually be seen as an egregious error, I have a degree in Print Journalism from the University of Montana. Once upon a time it was used to gain work at several Montana papers, but these days it mostly pads my resume, and makes me sound accomplished and legit.

I live here in Missoula with my wife and dog (my wife often says that in reverse, as in, “…with my dog and husband,” cause I need to know my place). I work at a certain non-profit that I shall not name. I enjoy the occasional craft brewed beverage.

I do my best to be pithy, and sift through BS. Follow me at twitter.com/Duganz, or pry into another layer of my life at about.me/duganz.

I'm the goofy looking one.
