Tomorrow’s the Missoula bash and fundraiser for Jon Tester’s 50th birthday party. It’s not too late to RSVP and pledge some cash to help Jon ditch Boss Hogg Burns. You can also just show up. Click the link for the address.

Some interesting factoids about the party you all may be interested in: First, it will be nationally televised! PBS’ “NOW” is coming to do a story on Tester and the blogs. Good times, and only in America. Second, we’ve already exceeded our first two fundraising goals. Over $1,100 has been pledged, and I expect that number will be much higher with all the walk-ins we suspect will be coming by.

Remember, this is money that you are donating. Not some lobbyist, not some fat cat expecting a scratched back from Jon after he wins in November. But people, concerned citizens, and patriots. Every dollar we give Jon not only brings him closer to victory, it’s also a “f*ck you” to lobbyists, Washington DC, and the establishment culture of authoritarianism, fear-mongering, and corruption. This is the people’s candidate, bought and paid for by Montana citizens.

If you can’t come, consider contributing. If you can’t contribute, consider volunteering. If you can’t volunteer, get a bumper sticker or yard sign. But above all, talk politics with everyone you know, and tell ‘em about Tester.
