due to a long work week, this is going to be disjointed, disorganized and altogether incoherent but i will try to come to grips with what just passed for a legislative session here in the state of montana; official state pancakes are out. stream access is in. payday lenders can still charge 650% interest for two week loans. kids whose parents make 250% of the poverty rate and under can receive some health care under chip. gay marriage is still banned.  we can’t strap on a six shooter waltz into town and pick a fight yet- gonna have to invite em into the house to blow em away…, but goldang it we got ourselves a rootin’ tootin’ slaughterhouse for horses…..why, montana’ll sure  be famous for our steaks now!

i rate this past session about a d minus. just  like little joe, our legislature was just a little hog-tied when it came to really getting much done… usual.
