Health Insurance Protest

by problembear

max baucus, i have one question for the committee; so are you saying you like turkey roll

David Sirota has another question for you;

2) Why should the American public believe the health industry is going to voluntarily do anything to cut into its profits? Health executives have a fiduciary responsibility to private shareholders to maximize profits. Voluntarily lowering those profits would violate that fiduciary responsibility. Are we really expected to believe these health executives will, out of the goodness of their hearts, violate their fiduciary responsibilities? What has actually changed to suggest that they will violate their fiduciary responsibilities and help health care consumers?

this bill touted  to ostensibly overhaul health care is a maggot infested turkey roll….the doctors hate it, the nurses hate it, and a majority of americans hate it.  your bill has been completely corrupted and co-opted by the insurance industry to protect their profits. even going so far as to to deny legitimate interests in this debate a seat at the table.

tomorrow may 12, a protest rally is planned by the largest nurses organization in america in washington dc. if you do not like turkey roll with maggots and would instead like a fairer and safer alternative to health care than the dangerous and expensive whims of an out of control health insurance lobby then please sign this faxed message provided by the nurses. it tells max and the other members of the committee that we want single payer universal health care as an option.

anyone who has been turned down or ripped off  by health insurers should understand by now that they are with few exceptions a den of lying thieves, we simply cannot trust these private insurance maggots with our future anymore. america has waited long enough for a decent universal affordable health care system that most of the developed countries around the world enjoy but this bill is definitely not universal nor will it be affordable….

if this turkey passes congress and gives carte blanche power to the health insurance industry you can be sure that these maggots will expand their profits into a cloud of flies that will mature to devour the biggest portion of every health care dollar spent in this country.

if you need help swatting the flies as they hatch this site should help.

Rails advocate and Ward 1 Councilperson Dave Strohmaier might even want to travel for this one: Senator Tester has planned a public meeting to discuss re-establishment of the old Hiawatha route of Amtrak for Bozeman on May 26th. That’s about all the Billings Gazette has, but it’s enough to peek some people’s interest, no?

The Senator’s website has this.
