County Seeks Election Judges

by jhwygirl

Missoula County Elections Office is still in need of a pretty large number of election judges. They are making a plea for nearly 300 people (it takes 600 to run the county’s elections).

These are paid jobs, albeit temporary – but you do get paid for training and for the actual work.

Training, in fact, is going on through a number of sessions throughout March. The County Elections webpage has the schedule

If you can help out by attending a 3 hour training session and then work on election days (there are 2 to 4 elections a year), give the elections office a call at 258-4751 or shoot them an email with your daytime phone number.

I’m so there. Maybe they could up the pay, though … that usually brings in a few more workers. Crying that the sky is falling (again) usually doesn’t.
