With All the Issues Facing Montana this Legislative Session…

by jhwygirl

Senator Bruce Tutvedt (of Kalispell) is concerned about what language our driver’s test be administered.

  1. I think 4 & 20 does have a software issue. This post shows in the lefty bloglines feed at LitW but does not come up for me on the front page of the site.

  2. Curious. I comment and now it does display.

  3. And now it’s gone again.

Strange – I comment and you are still here :-)

1725 bill drafts (so far) and I seriously doubt this one is the most frivolous.

Why are the Democrats even submitting “controversial” bill drafts? LC1298??, LC1276?? LC 0366??

Maybe it isn’t the most frivolous — there’s a lot of crap out there — but it has to be in the top ten.

I would never second guess jhwygirl but I think her point is that with all the really important stuff that needs to be worked on — budgetary concerns being front and center — why waste everyone’s time on this xenophobic posturing.

Four years ago I think it was Steve >>>>> of Great Falls who wanted to require paper towel dispensers in public restrooms. NO AIR DRYERS must have been his slogan.

There is never any shortage of stupidity at the legislature.

The ban on daylight savings time gets my vote so far this year.

    Possibly related posts: (automatically generated)

    Minority rights in Estonia

There are some impossibly ironic automatically generated possibly related posts at times. This would be one of them.

  8. Ingemar Johansson

How ’bout a ban on di-hydrogen monoxide.

Nice try, IJ. CFACT is a front group for Exxon/Mobile, Chevron and fat cat libertarian industrialists. (Retraction: Exxon/Mobile no longer funds CFACT — it was too bogus an organization even for E/M.)

Ambushing kids in Cancun with snarky, double-talk questions and pretending the responses are representative of those concerned with climate change is disingenuous at best.

We’re dealing with a serious issue here but the punks at CFACT treat it like a joke.

If this is the best that the climate change deniers can come up with then maybe there is hope for real solutions to one of the gravest problems facing the world.

I hope you can do better than this in future comments.

      • Ingemar Johansson

        One big Joke deserves another.

Did you know that this is the second Climate Summit they’ve been too, using the same H2O petition?

Seems to me they’d get everybody together and warn them against looking so foolish.
