Where Does it End?

By CFS

First they came for the unions,

and I didn’t speak out because I was not a union member.

Then they came for Medicare and Medicaid,

and I didn’t speak out because I was not poor nor elderly.

Then they came for Social Security,

and I didn’t speak out because I was not retired.

Then they came for progressives,

and there was no one left to speak out

Words will not end this. Action is the antidote. Organized groups of individuals taking action. And one of the first acts should be to rid ourselves of corrupt bureaucrats, corrupt media outlets, corrupt union bosses and corrupt politicians like Baucus and Tester and Rehberg. Handing corrupt “leaders” the reigns of power has proven disasterous. Pink slips all around.

Then the 50-state march on corporate headquarters can begin, starting with Wal-Mart.

  2. Ingemar Johansson

Always did love a story with a happy ending.

  3. The whole world is watching! Madison, Madison, Madison! Look out everyone. If Wisconsin can upset the peace and quiet of the snoozing state workers, nobody is safe!

  4. Sinclair Lewis is an author I haven’t read since college days. IT CAN”T HAPPEN HERE is an interesting book. He had keen observations and insights on how go along get along approach can erode principles and undermine the country.
