Love More, Love Better

That is all.

Did you see the Beatles tribute?

As they sang many years ago:

    Love, love, love
    Love, love, love
    Love, love, love

There’s nothing you can do that can’t be done
Nothing you can sing that can’t be sung
Nothing you can say but you can learn how to play the game
    It’s easy

Nothing you can make that can’t be made
No one you can save that can’t be saved
Nothing you can do but you can learn how to be you in time
    It’s easy

    All you need is love
    All you need is love
All you need is love, love
    Love is all you need

    Love, love, love
    Love, love, love
    Love, love, love

    All you need is love
    All you need is love
All you need is love, love
    Love is all you need

Nothing you can know that isn’t known
Nothing you can see that isn’t shown
Nowhere you can be that isn’t where you’re meant to be
    It’s easy

    All you need is love
    All you need is love
All you need is love, love
    Love is all you need

Speaking of love, what are your thoughts on the UAW vote? http://www.nytimes.com/2014/02/15/business/volkswagen-workers-reject-forming-a-union.html?_r=0

another battle lost in the class war.

      • Big Swede

Another battle lost for Dem campaign coffers.

“First and foremost, the UAW enters the room. With it, VW employees who choose to join will dole out two and a half hours of pay per month for what the union says is a — wink, wink, nudge, nudge — strike fund. But the UAW would never strike the nice plant that allowed it a foothold in the South, right?

Where, in fact, does the UAW in general, among other places, put its money? In the 2013-14 campaign cycle so far, according to the Center for Responsive Politics, it has given $71,901 to Democrat candidates and zero, zip, nada to Republican candidates.

In the 2012 cycle, it gave $1,427,731 to Democrat candidates and $45,053 in efforts against Republican candidates. Republican candidates, meanwhile, got nothing.

VW workers, that would be your money.”-Timesfreepress

you are so clueless. as organized labor deteriorates, corporate power is further solidified. you are completely without historical understanding of what organized labor has fought bloody fights for.

          • Big Swede

Yeah, but you’re living in the 1920’s.

I case you’ve haven’t noticed childhood labor is outlawed, there’s an ever growing minimum wage, staying home on your ass is the equivalent of $26K in this state and lawyers feed off workplace maladies. See you last post.

Then there’s the bogey man, the evil corporation. Reminiscent of the copper kings. I don’t know what scares you guys more? The fact that most people that work for corps are part owners. Most retirees lead comfortable lives after work because of their investment in said company and the health care they provide. You can’t play the downtrodden worker anymore because he’s hitting the links with his assembly line buddies at “The Villages”?

Unions while needed in the past have morphed into money trains for the Dem party.
